This is another character from the CG Cookie realm and game, Eat Sheep. The sculpture was part of the tutorials created for The SculptBox, a one-stop purchase for all your sculpting needs when you first start. It provides all the essential tools to get you started.
Ok, enough shop-talk!

This sculpture was a lot of fun to sculpt because it has so many layers and techniques I could use with it. Sculpting cartoon characters can be a bit challenging at first because the main rule about cartoon is that there is no rule. Characters can be constructed with distorted proportions, as is clearly visible with the desert wrangler, his oversized head and forearms. But if you know your anatomy it becomes easy to adjust to over exaggeration.

The finished piece stands 7.5″ (19 cm) tall.
